    The battle complex " Buk-M1-2" consist of CS (command station), radar station target identification, up to 6 self-propelled fire installations (SFI), up to 3 starting mounting, up to 48 antiaircraft of rocket missile. .

    On march the complex go to readiness during 5'. Antiaircraft division consists of Control Station (CS), Detection Station and 3 fire batteries. The 3-coordinate radar station target identification is intended for detection of a state belonging of an air object, for detection of single or numerous objects. For one cycle of the review equal to 4,5 seconds, the station is capable to process and to pass on Control Station (CS) 75 coordinates in telecode.

    The detection distance battle and tactical aircraft makes: At height of 100 meters - not less than 35 kilometers, at height from 1000 up to 25000 meters - up to 150 kilometers. Detection target identification station can work as in modes antiaircraft and antirocket defense, as in a mode of protection from antiradar rockets. The Command Station is intended for coordination, control and documenting of battle actions, for organization of battle job in the conditions of radioelectronic and fire of counteraction, for transfer of the information to the central Command Station. Simultaneously CS can tread the information about 75 objects, providing a sample of 15 most dangerous, make automatic distribution on 6 fire channels.

    SFI (Self-propelled Fire Installation) provides detection and identification of a state belonging of the objects, capture them on auto support, develops flying mission for rockets, launching of 4 own rockets and 4 taking place in starting mounting. After disturbance changing the mounting rocket will be ready for launching in 20 seconds. Capture distance for aerodynamic distance objects, flying above 1000 meters, amounts 70 kilometers.

    Starting mounting has 8 antiaircraft rockets, 4 rockets, a based on lodgment and 4 on the starting device. In the battle conditions starting mounting provides: the decision of p5recursory tasks, foundation of flying mission in a rocket and launching them with an interval in 4 - 5 seconds. Starting and rarefactions of SFI come with the help of the SM.

    Antiaircraft rocket is designed in classical configuration.

    With the help of a new rocket 9Ì317 and updating devices of a complex we have an opportunity to hit in as "Lance" rockets, flying in, surface ships in 25 km distance and ground objects (planes based in airports, starting mountings, large Command Stations based in 15 km distance). The efficiency of a defeat of planes, helicopters and rockets is increased. The borders of defeat zones increased up to 45 km in length and up to 25 km on height. In a new rocket use an inertial-corrected control system with a half active radar warhead. Starting weight of a rocket is 710-720 kg and weight of a warhead is 50-70 kg.

     The new rocket 9Ì317 externally differed from 9Ì38 by essentially smaller length of a wing. Antiaircraft rocket 9Ì317 is developed as a uniform rocket. The complex can defense armies, civil and industrial objects.
