    Since July, 1, 1920. Mitishi the factory was included in "striking force" of the largest enterprises of Moscow and Moscow suburbs which should perform the most important works on recovering a national economy and, first of all, the transport.
    Management of factory attempted to overcome consequences of Civil War, to decide problems with supply, to get necessary tools and the equipment.
    For management building and repair work two new departments were created: repair - building and mechanical-repair. During two with superfluous years these departments have carried out much on repair of industrial buildings, steam facilities, transport structures.
    In 1924 were created by office of production and the technical control. As a result of accepted measures output of factory began to grow and in 1926 has constituted about two norms of production from a pre-war level.
    1925 - 1926 were critical in work of Car-building factory. Its specialization as car-building enterprise from now on began to be restored, production of agricultural machines was reduced.
    In 1926 factory designers Babin and Dvuhsherstnov have developed the project of the first in country of the 19-meter metal car for the electrified railway. Quantity production of new types of cars began from this moment at factory.
    In 1929 on Mitishi car-building factory the first electric passenger trains for Russia were made.
    Reconstruction and reorganization of factory have begun in Autumn of 1930 works on . At factory have created shop on repair of the equipment, have transferred to line system assembly of tram and suburban cars, have organized electrowelding shop, have introduced punching.

    In 1932 specialization of the enterprise - issue of tram and 19-meter railway cars was strictly defined.
    May, 17, 1933 the administration has issued the order on the beginning of works on metrocars. And since July, 1 the collective of autogenous shop has started welding carriages and conductors for these cars.
    In January, 1935 the factory has manufactured the first 40 cars of the underground. Metrocars, made on Mitishi Machine-building factory , for the first time in practice of domestic car building were all-metal, a welded design. Cars of the first type "À" had high reliability. Cars such as "À" and "Á" issue of 1934-1939 have studied on the Moscow underground almost forty years.
    In the same year workers have run in production of the roller axle boxes, the extremely necessary unit in car building which before Russia buy abroad.
    In 1939 batch production of trams for Moscow began.
    Serial issue of doubleaxis 20-ton platforms and containers was run in and adjusted In May, 1940. Mitishi Machine-building factory confidently accelerated and began one of the largest enterprises of a car-building industry of country.
