    Transformations to the country in 1985-1990 were reflected as well in destiny Mitishi of a factory: per 1987 a factory from conducting Minautoprom the USSR was transferred by the decision of Council of Ministers of the USSR to conducting Minhardmach the USSR. At the same time at a factory was constructed new shop the case by the area of 17 thousand sq.m. with which have equipped with the non-standard equipment developed ÎSC under the direction of main designer J.V.Hvostova.

    The factory has passed on release of the modernized cars of the underground of models 81-7175 (the head car) and 81-714.5 (the intermediate car). Modernization consist in increase of reliability and fire security its units and systems. In the beginning 90 manufacture of cars of new generation - models 81-718 and 81-719 with the traction pulse electric drive of a direct current.

     From 1986 began issue of the new pattern of dumper ZIL-ÌÌZ-45054. It was original development ÎSC, the engine of the automobile uses natural gas.

    In March, 1987 in the House of culture ÌÌZ representatives of labour collectives for elections of the new general director of association have gathered. A place of former chief V.N.Donskov, which with honour has left on the deserved rest, the young and vigorous director of Neftekamsk factory of autodumpers J.A.Gulko has taken.

    The new director has developed the big work on creation of cars of the underground of new generation, has organized construction of industrial cases for new cars. Besides it, J.A.Gulko has attended to active housing construction for workers of factory as shortage of housing accommodation was one fluctuation of the personnel from the reasons.

    From the end 80 the geography of foreign economic relations of factory by degrees began to extend. Structural reorganization of the enterprise began: council of labour collective (CLC) which subsequently has affirmed new structure of management ÌÌZ was elected. It provided creation at the enterprise of three productions: carload, auto - dumper and serial. At the end of 80 at factory began to arise cooperative societies.

    In the beginning of 1990 began transfer of association from new methods of managing as a result of which the decision to take factory under the lease with subsequent its call future at the state was accepted.

    And April, 20, 1992 at constituent conference of labour collective of association the decision on transformation of factory in joint-stock company "Metrovagonmash " which chairman became J.A.Gulko was accepted.

    In 1993 the factory has demonstrated the new pattern of metro car "Jauza" which represents a new mark in a history of metro car building. Many advanced achievements of technical progress are used in it.

    Following market demands, designers of association have developed the new pattern of a dumper "45063" with the diesel engine on which now in the world there is a stable demand. The new structural division - a service of marketing, sales and the transport has appeared.

    The company managed to leave independently on a foreign market. Now production of joint-stock company " Metrovagonmash " is exported in various countries of the Earth.

    Today Mitishi the car-building factory is not only production, engineering, the transport, CB and auxiliary services, it also widely ramified network of establishments of a social infrastructure: kindergartens, improving camp, a sanatorium - dispensary, boarding house "Kliazma", the House of culture, stadium, hospital, shops, dining rooms, libraries etc.
