    Designers give much attention to development of caterpillar chassis for military machines. Every type of chassis was designed especially for new type fire machine, and was calculated for certain capacity and speed. Somebody really believed in creation of a running part uniform for all types of military engineering. And only "METROWAGONMASH" designers realized this idea. For the first time in the world military multipurpose application machine was created. Interdependence of the basic units, improvement of maintenance service, sharply reduced terms of machine design help to achieve such results.

    In essence two tasks are solved:
1. The first one is the creation of really multipurpose chassis. At this way all systems placed on chassis are plotted and designed.
2. As these machines concern to a category military machines, they should have very high characteristics and reliability. At first different tasks were solved and later went to design. Fundamental theories of automatic control and movement stability helped to solve many problems.

    Automatic hydro mechanical transmissions and step less turn mechanism were created. The created multifunction chassis can be used in both variants: back and forward arrangement of transmission motor system and caterpillar gear. Special system of liquid cooling of a suspension bracket, our advantage, allows to move very quickly for a long time on impassability.

    The design of the multifunction chassis provides precisely conducting of object by all systems of antiaircraft rocket complexes. It is easy to drive the machine with the help of a steering wheel, both pedals of an accelerator and catch. It is possible to arrange powerful computer in the machine. By means of powerful air conditioning system these machines can work both in desert and in north: from -50C up to +50C.

    Special sensors supervises onboard systems. They pass the current information to " a black box ". Diagnostics of failures and malfunctions, even most insignificant, is made automatically. A high technological level, complex service allowed to receive the license of independent sale of machines. The foreign countries show great interest to our engineering. Our machines demonstrate the level of the best world achievements and in some parameters even surpasses them. The creation of a multifunction machine has allowed to introduce so-called double technologies, when the engineering is used not only with the purposes of a defense, but also in a national economy. Also these machines can be applied to transportation of large-sized and heavy cargoes.
