Вагон 81-720     Stainless steel body meets modern design and ergonomics reguirements.

    More comfort for passengers and drivers, increased passengers capacity, low noise level, more information for passengers are provided.

    The mechanical equipment of cars has been successfully tested.

    Improved economical characteristics of operation, large reduction of power consumption, operation and maintenance expenses are achieved.

    Cars are equipped with traction drive having DC motors and pulse-thyristor control system developed at Joint Electrotechnical Stock Company "Dynamo", or ONIX drive of IGBT inverters produced by ALSTOM (England).

    Cars have high operation speed,are highly reliable and fireproof. They are equipped with microprocessor automatic control and diagnosis facilities, electropneumatic brakes control system, systems of fife-fighting and fire-alarm, emergency communication and passenger radiowarning Frame mounting of traction motors and reduction gear is used, central mounting of pneumatic, and axle-boxes are oneside level mounted.

    Passenger saloon and driver's cab (foto) are lined with non-flammable and fireproof materials.

    To give passengers more information electronic information board is placed over saloon doors and at the customer's request running line" may be arranged on saloon's end wall.

    Passenger saloon is illuminated with luminescent lamps and the system of forced ventilation with low-noise aircraft type ventilators is provided. The driver's cab is equipped with airconditoning system for summer and heating system for winter.
